ABOUT KATIE
Katie Franqueira is from Danbury, Connecticut and began studying dance and theatre at age three. She began her theatre journey at Just Dance School of Performing Arts and was eventually brought on as a dance captain in musicals at Musicals at Richter. Katie is proud to have graduated the AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts with her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre with training on both the New York and Hollywood campuses. Since graduating school Katie has delved into the world of film and on camera work, while still maintaining her theater roots. Katie would love to thank her family for always believing in her, and her closest friends for their endless support as they constantly serve as an inspiration to her.

Katie is super excited to share that she's been signed by her first agency! Connor Ankrum & Associates has signed her theatrically with representation in both Los Angeles and New York.

Katie was lucky enough to be dance captain and in the ensemble for AMDA's BFA Mainstage production of Once Upon A Mattress directed by Larry Raben.
